[브레이크뉴스=박찬호 기자] 경남도교육청은 여름철 폭염에 대비하여 7월부터 도내 각급 학교 현업업무종사자들을 위한 산업안전보건 순회 점검과 온열질환 예방 지원에 나섰다.
이번 조치는 학교 현장에서 묵묵히 일하는 근로자들의 건강을 보호하기 위한 선제적 대응이다.
교육청은 거제, 남해, 산청 등 경남 전역 13개 학교의 급식, 시설, 청소, 당직, 운전, 통학 종사자 119명을 대상으로 이번 사업을 진행하고 있다.
이들에게는 보랭 가방, 휴대용 냉각 선풍기, 음료, 쿨티슈, 아이스 넥쿨러, 쿨타월, 쿨링시트 등 총 7종의 온열질환 예방 용품이 직접 전달된다.
용품 전달과 함께 온열질환 예방 수칙 및 포스터를 활용한 간단한 안전 교육도 병행하여 현장 근무자들의 안전 의식을 높이고 있다.
