세종시교육청은 9일 관내 학교장 및 원장 150명을 대상으로 ‘2025년 여름철 학교 안전사고 대비 교(원)장 회의’를 온라인(ZOOM)으로 개최했다.
시 교육청에 따르면 이번 회의는 여름철을 맞아 각급 학교의 안전관리 강화를 위한 실질적인 대응 방안을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 회의에서는 폭염, 온열질환, 정신건강, 감염병, 수상안전, 화재 및 물놀이 사고 등 여름철 학교 안전사고 예방을 위한 중점 사항을 안내하고, 학교 현장의 실천 방안을 모색했다.
특히 여름방학 중 아이들의 성장지원 등 다양한 프로그램 활동에서 학생들의 안전이 확보될 수 있도록 폭염 대비 예방조치를 철저히 시행할 것을 당부했다.
또 여름방학 중 학교 구성원 간 위기 학생의 심각성을 이해하고 학교 차원의 협력 대응의 필요성을 강조했다.
아울러 여름철 고온다습한 환경과 단체생활의 특성을 고려한 학교 실정에 맞는 감염병 예방교육 등을 실시하도록 했다.
마지막으로 최근 잇따른 화재로 인한 학생들의 피해와 물놀이 사고 발생에 따라 여름방학 전에 안전교육을 집중 실시하고, 학부모 대상 가정통신문 등을 통해 학생안전사고 주의 및 예방을 적극 안내하도록 했다.
천범산 부교육감은 “오늘 회의를 통해 여름철 학교 안전사고를 예방하기 위한 구체적인 대응 방안을 공유하고, 학교 현장에서 실천 가능한 방안들이 잘 정착되기를 기대한다.”며
“학교 현장의 목소리에 귀 기울이며, 학생안전을 위한 보다 촘촘한 지원과 협력을 지속해 나가겠다.”고 말했다.
