[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 오는 16일 위천면 동계종택에서 ‘의리대가 동계종가’ 프로그램의 하나로 ‘동계서당 골든벨’ 행사를 개최한다고 10일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 거창고등학교 재학생 100여 명이 참여해, 한국사의 새로운 해석으로 주목받고 있는 ‘큰별’ 최태성 선생의 ‘동계 정온 선생을 주제로 한 특강’을 비롯하여, 조선시대 ‘전통 입학례 체험’, ‘동계서당 골든벨’ 순으로 진행된다.
행사를 주관하는 김숙희 (사)한국문화유산활용진흥원장은 “이번 ‘동계서당 골든벨’은 정온 선생의 생애와 사상을 중심으로 한국사 인물 탐구 과정을 통해 학생들이 역사 재해석 능력을 키우고 창의적 상상력을 함양할 수 있도록 기획된 교육형 행사”라고 밝혔다.
그러면서 “정온 선생의 교육 철학뿐만 아니라 고택의 건축·재실·장류 문화 등 다양한 문화유산 콘텐츠와 현대 종가의 계승 과제를 폭넓게 다룰 예정이다”고 덧붙였다.
특히 ‘큰별 선생 특강’에서는 성리학 기반 이상 국가 실현을 위한 조선의 국정 철학, 예악 문화, 세계 유일 재상 중심 국가 운영 등과 더불어, 임진왜란, 병자호란을 거치며 구체화 된 의리와 명분을 상징하고 의미하는 재조지은(再造之恩)의 허상과 실체를 어떻게 이해하고 평가할 것인가 등 다양한 역사해석의 방법론들에 대한 강의가 진행될 예정이다.
거창군 관계자는 “본 사업은 국가유산청 공모사업인 ‘우리고장 국가유산 활용사업’의 일환으로, 조선 중기 의리대감으로 알려진 정온(1569-1641) 선생의 고택이 지닌 터(地), 예(禮), 집(家), 인(人) 등의 역사·문화적인 가치를 국민이 공유하는 프로그램으로써 지속 발전할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
