DL이앤씨가 국내 최초로 개발한 층간소음 감지 및 알림 시스템 ‘D-사일런스 서비스(D-Silence Service)’ 적용을 본격 확대한다. 실제 입주민의 만족도 조사에서 긍정적인 반응을 얻은 만큼, 향후 고급 브랜드 단지 및 정비사업 유치 경쟁에서도 이 기술이 중요한 차별화 포인트가 될 전망이다.

층간소음 기준 초과 시 “윗집에 경고가 뜬다”
D-사일런스 서비스는 아파트 내부에 설치된 바닥 진동 감지 센서를 통해 소음이 일정 기준을 초과할 경우, 해당 세대의 월패드에 직접 알림을 전송하는 시스템이다.
구체적으로, 환경부 층간소음 기준(39dB)을 초과한 진동이 10초에 3회 이상 발생하면 ‘주의’, 10초에 6회 이상 발생 시 ‘경고’ 메시지를 송출한다.
이 시스템의 핵심은 비대면 방식의 자율적 소음 자제 유도다. 위층 세대가 층간소음을 실시간으로 인지하고 즉시 대응할 수 있어, 불필요한 갈등을 사전에 방지하는 효과가 기대된다. 또한 소음 발생 빈도와 강도 데이터를 통계화해 세대별 분석 리포트를 제공, 분쟁 발생 시 객관적 기준으로 활용할 수 있다는 점도 눈에 띈다.
D-사일런스는 지난해 경기도 연천군의 ‘e편한세상 연천 웰스하임’ 단지에 최초로 적용됐다. DL이앤씨가 입주민을 대상으로 실시한 설문조사에서, 80% 이상이 “지속적으로 서비스를 이용하겠다”는 의사를 밝히며 높은 만족도를 보였다. 특히 어린 자녀가 있는 가정일수록 만족도가 두드러진 것으로 나타났다.
기존의 층간소음 저감 기술이 구조적·건축적 해결에 집중했다면, D-사일런스는 거주자 행동 기반의 ‘소통형 해법’으로 접근했다는 점에서 차별화된다.
‘아크로 한남’ 등 고급 브랜드에 잇따라 적용
DL이앤씨는 이러한 초기 성과를 발판 삼아, D-사일런스 기술을 고급 주거 브랜드인 ‘아크로(ACRO)’ 시리즈를 중심으로 우선 적용하고 있다.
지난 5월 수주한 ‘아크로 한남’을 시작으로, 8월 분양 예정인 ‘아크로 드 서초’에도 시스템을 도입할 예정이다. 또한 성수, 압구정, 여의도, 목동 등 정비사업 수주 경쟁이 치열한 핵심 지역 단지에도 확대 적용을 추진 중이다.
DL이앤씨 관계자는 “D-사일런스는 단순한 알림 시스템이 아니라, 층간소음에 대한 새로운 주거 문화와 기준을 제시하는 기술”이라며 “앞으로도 층간소음 문제를 줄이려는 소비자의 니즈에 발맞춰, 더 많은 단지에 빠르게 적용하겠다”고 밝혔다.
신기술 기반 ‘정비시장 무기’로
최근 서울 등 대도시 고급 정비사업에서는 거주자 눈높이에 맞춘 하이엔드 설계와 실질적 생활 만족 요소 확보가 수주 성패를 가른다. 특히 층간소음은 민원이 빈번한 대표적 주거 갈등 요소로, 이와 관련한 기술적 대응이 기업 브랜드 신뢰도를 결정짓는 핵심 요인으로 작용하고 있다.

DL E&C is set to significantly expand the application of its 'D-Silence Service,' South Korea's first inter-floor noise detection and notification system. Having received positive feedback in resident satisfaction surveys, this technology is expected to become a crucial differentiating factor in future competitions to attract high-end brand complexes and urban redevelopment projects.
On July 9, DL E&C announced, "As social interest and consumer demand for inter-floor noise issues increase, we plan to gradually expand the application of our proprietary D-Silence technology to more complexes." Recently, the company also launched a marketing campaign by releasing an introductory video of the service on its official YouTube channel, broadening its consumer outreach.
"Warning Appears Upstairs" When Inter-Floor Noise Exceeds Standards
The D-Silence Service is a system that directly sends a notification to the wall pad of a unit when noise exceeds a certain threshold, detected by floor vibration sensors installed inside the apartment.
Specifically, if vibrations exceeding the Ministry of Environment's inter-floor noise standard (39dB) occur three or more times in 10 seconds, a 'Caution' message is sent. If they occur six or more times in 10 seconds, a 'Warning' message is transmitted.
The core of this system is to induce voluntary noise reduction through non-face-to-face methods. It allows the upstairs household to recognize inter-floor noise in real-time and respond immediately, which is expected to prevent unnecessary conflicts. Another notable feature is that it statisticalizes noise occurrence frequency and intensity data to provide a per-household analysis report, which can be used as an objective standard in case of disputes.
High Resident Satisfaction and Expanding Application
D-Silence was first implemented last year at the 'ePyeonhansesang Yeoncheon Wells Heim' complex in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province. In a survey conducted by DL E&C among residents, over 80% expressed their intention to "continue using the service," showing high satisfaction. Notably, satisfaction was more pronounced among households with young children.
While conventional inter-floor noise reduction technologies focused on structural and architectural solutions, D-Silence differentiates itself by approaching the issue with a 'communication-based solution' driven by resident behavior.
Successive Implementation in High-End Brands Like 'Acro Hannam'
Building on these initial successes, DL E&C is prioritizing the application of D-Silence technology to its high-end residential brand, the 'ACRO' series.
Starting with 'Acro Hannam,' which was secured in May, the system is also planned for introduction in 'Acro de Seocho,' scheduled for sale in August. Furthermore, DL E&C is pushing for expanded application in key areas with fierce competition for urban redevelopment projects, such as Seongsu, Apgujeong, Yeouido, and Mok-dong.
A DL E&C official stated, "D-Silence is not just a simple notification system; it's a technology that proposes a new residential culture and standard for inter-floor noise. We will continue to quickly apply it to more complexes in line with consumers' needs to reduce inter-floor noise issues."
A 'Weapon for Urban Redevelopment Market' Based on New Technology
Recently, in high-end urban redevelopment projects in major cities like Seoul, the success of securing projects hinges on high-end designs tailored to residents' expectations and the provision of elements that ensure actual living satisfaction. In particular, inter-floor noise is a common source of residential conflict, with frequent complaints. Technical responses to this issue act as a critical factor in determining a company's brand credibility.
In addition to 'D-Silence,' DL E&C is continuously developing integrated noise reduction solutions applied to 'ePyeonhansesang' and 'ACRO,' including advancing floor soundproofing materials and designing for equipment noise reduction.
