[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 광복 80주년을 기념해 김해근대역사위원회 주관으로 오는 8월 13일 오후 7시 장유도서관 공연장에서 ‘제2회 김해독립운동기념음악회, 나의 산하! 나의 김해!’가 개최된다고 14일 밝혔다.
김해근대역사위원회는 작년 제1회 김해독립운동기념음악회의 성공 개최에 힘 입어 올해는 김해 최초 3.1만세운동을 주도했던 배동석 지사를 비롯한 진영읍 김정태 지사, 장유 무계리 김종훤 지사와 이름 없던 의병, 기생들의 숭고한 독립 정신의 뜻을 기리고자 김해 독립운동의 치열했던 역사적 순간들을 음악으로 재해석했다.
음악회는 대한민국 마당극 창시자이자 판소리 명창인 ‘임진택 선생’이 특별 출연해 창작 판소리 ‘백범 김구’ 공연을 필두로 지역의 김해여성합창단과 5060라온합창단, 그라운디 무용단, 뮤지컬 가수팀인 브라운디가 출연해 80분간 진행된다.
김해근대역사위 박경원 사무국장은 “광복 80주년을 맞아 칼로도 벨 수 없는 선조들의 의롭고 뜨거운 마음을 미흡하나마 기억하고 찬란한 독립운동의 유산을 김해시민들에게 음악으로 보여드리고 싶어 기획한 공연인 만큼 많은 시민들이 함께 해주시길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
