(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 14일, 인구보건복지협회 인천지회와 청년 미혼남녀의 건전한 만남을 지원하는‘아이플러스(i⁺) 이어드림’ 참가자를 오는 7월 21일부터 8월 11일까지 3주간 모집한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 이번 참가 대상은 인천에 주민등록이 되어있거나 인천 소재 기업체에 재직 중인 만 24세부터 39세(1986~2001년생)의 미혼남녀이며, 자영업자와 프리랜서도 신청할 수 있다.
이번 모집은 3~4회차 행사 참가자를 대상으로 하며, 3회차 100명과 4회차 60명 등 총 160명을 선발할 예정이다.
두 회차 모두 중복 신청이 가능하며, 신청 인원이 모집 정원을 초과할 경우 무작위 추첨을 통해 최종 참가자가 선정되며 추첨 결과는 오는 8월 14일 발표된다.
3회차 행사는 8월 23일, 개항장의 역사와 근대문화가 살아 숨 쉬는 중구 하버파크호텔에서 열리며, 4회차는 9월 7일 인천의 대표 관광지인 을왕리 해변 일원에서 진행된다.
특히, 탁 트인 바다와 일몰 풍경이 어우러진 야외에서 열리는 4회차 행사에서는 연애 강사의 코칭, 1:1 로테이션 대화, 커플 게임은 물론, 숲과 바다 등 자연을 배경으로 한 다양한 데이트 코스 체험 프로그램도 마련되어 있다.
하병필 행정부시장은 “이번 ‘아이플러스(i⁺) 이어드림’을 통해 많은 커플이 인연을 맺고, 나아가 결혼으로 이어지기를 진심으로 바란다”며 “앞으로도 인천 청년들의 적극적인 참여를 통해 더욱 활기찬 만남의 장이 되길 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 지난 7월 12일 송도컨벤시아에서 열린 2회차 행사에서는 총 100명 50쌍 중 25쌍, 50명의 커플이 성사되며 1회차에 이어 50%의 높은 매칭률을 기록했다.
이는 청년들에게 만남의 기회가 제공될 경우 연인 관계로의 발전 가능성이 높고, 결혼에 대한 의지도 강하다는 점을 보여주는 결과로 평가된다.
인천시는 참가자 만족도 조사 결과를 바탕으로 오는 11월까지 연 5회에 걸쳐 아이플러스(i⁺) 이어드림’ 프로그램을 지속 운영할 계획이다.
