(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 14일, 경기도가 실시한 ‘2025년 미세먼지 저감 우수 시·군 평가’에서 4년 연속 우수 시·군으로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이번 평가는 도내 31개 시·군을 인구 규모에 따라 3개 그룹으로 나눠 진행했으며, 미세먼지 발생원 관리 등 3대 분야 22개 지표에 대한 자체평가(70%)와 우수·특수시책에 대한 전문가 평가(30%)를 합산해 최종 결과를 산정했다.
시는 전기차 공공 충전시설 확대, 운행차 배출가스 점검, 매연차량 신고 포상금제 운영 등 미세먼지 배출원 저감을 위한 적극적인 행정으로 높은 평가를 받았다.
2019년 대비 2024년 연평균 초미세먼지 농도를 32㎍/㎥에서 20㎍/㎥으로 줄이며 37.5% 감축하는 성과를 거뒀다.
특히 미세먼지 고농도 발생 시기인 제6차 계절관리제(2024년 12월~2025년 3월) 동안에는 공공부문, 수송, 생활 등 분야별로 강화된 대기오염 저감 정책을 추진해 ‘좋음’ 일수 52일을 기록하며 역대 최다 성과를 냈다.
부천시 관계자는 “이번 우수기관 선정은 여러 부서가 협력해 대기질 개선을 위해 꾸준히 노력한 결과”라며 “앞으로도 시민이 체감할 수 있는 쾌적한 대기환경 조성을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 부천시는 앞으로 운행차 배출가스 관리 강화 등 기존 정책을 지속하는 한편, 계절관리제 성과를 바탕으로 고농도 시기 대응 역량을 더욱 높일 방침이다.
