‘제2기 세종 자원순환 그린 청년 서포터즈’ 발대식이 16일 있었다.
세종시는 이날 고려대학교 세종캠퍼스 산학협력관에서 ‘제2기 세종 자원순환 그린 청년 서포터즈’ 발대식을 갖고 활동에 들어갔다.
지난해에 이어 두번째로 운영되는 ‘세종 자원순환 그린 청년 서포터즈’는 세종에코업 혁신융합대학사업단과의 협업을 통해 운영되며 시민 중심의 자발적인 자원순환 실천 참여를 유도하기 위해 구성됐다.
특히 지역 대학생들이 서포터즈로 참여해 시 자원순환 정책을 시민들에게 홍보하는 등 자원순환에 대한 시민들의 관심을 효과적으로 높일 수 있는 다양한 방안을 발굴하게 된다.
이날 발대식에서는 고려대학교 교직원·재학생 등 11명을 서포터즈로 위촉하고 세종시 1회용품 사용 저감 정책 공유, 서포터즈 개인별 역할 등을 논의했다.
이들은 앞으로 1회용품 사용 저감에 대한 시민 인식 개선 방안과 자원순환을 활성화할 수 있는 콘텐츠를 적극적으로 발굴할 예정이다.
또 카페, 블로그, 홍보 부스 운영 등 온오프라인 활동을 병행해 세종시 자원순환정책을 홍보할 계획이다.
권영석 환경녹지국장은 “세종시는 공공기관 탈(脫) 1회용품, 다회용기 재사용 촉진 지원사업, 용기내 세종 캠페인 등 다양한 환경 사업을 추진 중”이라며 “대학생들의 자발적인 참여를 통해 세종시민 모두가 함께하는 세종형 자원순환정책을 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.
