경기도재향군인회(회장 강명원)가 21일 수원시 소재 경기보훈교육연구원 제1대강당에서 '2025년 전반기 업무평가회의 및 우수회 사례발표회'를 성황리에 개최했다.
이날 오전 10시 30분부터 오후 1시 30분까지 약 3시간 동안 진행된 회의에는 강명원 경기도재향군인회장을 비롯해 이숙종 경기도재향군인회 여성회장, 도회 임직원, 각 시·군 재향군인회 회장, 사무국장 및 과장 등 100여 명이 참석했다.

회의는 ▲도회장 인사말 ▲2024년도 우수회 사례발표 ▲부서별 상반기 업무평가 ▲주요 회무 강조사항 공유 ▲본회 주요업무 추진 및 연계지시 사항 전달 ▲향군가 제창 ▲향군 구호 제창 순으로 진행됐다.
특히 이날 회의에서는 '2024년도 우수회 사례'로 선정된 의정부시재향군인회와 가평군재향군인회의 발표가 주목을 받았다.
의정부시재향군인회는 지역 유관기관과의 협력을 통한 참전유공자 지원체계 강화에서 탁월한 성과를 보였다.
가평군재향군인회는 청소년 안보교육 프로그램과 여성회 연계 활동을 적극적으로 전개해 호평을 받았다.
두 회는 지역 안보의식 고취는 물론, 봉사와 복지, 청년층 참여 확대 등에서 우수한 실적을 거둬 타 지역 회에 모범이 됐다는 평가를 받았다.
강명원 회장은 개회사에서 "전반기 동안 각 회가 보여준 책임감 있는 활동에 깊은 감사를 표한다"며 "향후에도 조직의 사명감을 바탕으로 국민과 함께하는 재향군인회로 거듭나야 한다"고 강조했다.
이번 회의는 단순한 회무 평가를 넘어서 조직 간 협력과 우수사례 확산을 통한 집단 역량 강화의 계기를 마련했다는 점에서 의미가 크다.

Gyeonggi-do Veterans Association (Chairman Kang Myeong-won) successfully held the '2025 First Half Business Evaluation Meeting and Excellent Association Case Presentation' at the first auditorium of the Gyeonggi Veterans Education Research Institute in Suwon City on the 21st.
