[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 1자녀 가정까지 관람료 감면 혜택을 확대하는 조례를 개정해 출산친화적 사회 분위기 조성과 시민 문화 접근성을 높이고 있다고 22일 밝혔다.
시는 기존 2자녀 이상 가정에만 적용되던 관람료 50% 감면 혜택이 앞으로는 1자녀 가정까지 확대 적용한다.
진주시는 가족 친화적인 문화 환경을 조성하고 체감도 높은 정책 실현을 목표로 시책을 벌이고 있다.
이번 감면 대상 시설은 진주성, 진주익룡발자국전시관, 진주청동기박물관, 진주시립이성자미술관, 진주유등전시관 등 총 5곳으로 오는 8월 11일부터 시행된다.
또 시는 하반기 개관 예정인 진주실크박물관도 지난 4월 제정된 조례에 따라 1자녀 이상 가정을 관람료 감면 대상에 포함해 출산친화 정책 기조를 일관되게 유지하고 있다.
이번 조례 개정은 출산친화도시 조성 전략의 일환으로, 저출산 극복과 인구 감소에 대응하기 위해 정책 수혜 대상을 확대하고 가족 단위 문화 향유 기회를 넓히기 위해서다
