논산시, 시민가족공원 산책로에 ‘쿨링포그’ 설치

충남 논산시(시장 백성현)가 본격적인 여름 무더위에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 논산시민가족공원 산책로에 ‘쿨링포그 시스템’을 도입했다. 시는 이번 조치를 통해 시민들이 더욱 쾌적하고 안전한 환경에서 여름을 보낼 수 있도록 한다는 방침이다.

‘쿨링포그(Cooling Fog)’는 초미세 물 입자를 대기 중에 분사해 주변 온도를 낮추는 방식의 냉방 시스템으로, 체감온도를 약 3~5도 가량 낮추는 효과가 있다. 특히 여름철 도심의 기온 상승을 유발하는 열섬현상을 완화하는 데에도 효과적인 것으로 알려져 있다.
