[브레이크뉴스=박찬호 기자] 한국남동발전이 새정부 에너지정책에 발맞춰 수립한 남동 에너지 신작로 2040을 실현하기 위해 영흥 무탄소 에너지 랜드마크 조성에 본격나선다.
한국남동발전은 21일 인천광역시청에서 유정복 인천광역시장, 강기윤 한국남동발전 사장 등 11개 유관기관 관계자들이 참석한 가운데, ‘영흥 미래에너지파크 조성사업 사전 타당성 조사’ 공동추진 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
‘영흥 미래에너지 파크’는 인천광역시 옹진군 소재의 영흥도에 무탄소 발전, 수소 및 해상풍력 클러스터, ESS, 스마트팜 등 탄소중립을 선도하기 위한 미래 에너지 핵심산업을 구축함으로써 무탄소 에너지 랜드마크를 조성하기 위한 목적으로 추진된다.
