브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 현대어린이책미술관(MOKA)이 개관 10주년을 맞아 특별 전시를 연다.
현대백화점은 오는 10월 26일까지 판교점에서 프랑스 출신 작가들과 함께하는 팝업북 전시 ‘봉주르팝업 2025’를 개최한다고 23일 밝혔다.
프랑스를 대표하는 팝업북 아티스트 아누크 부아로베르와 루이 리고의 작품 180여 점을 한자리에 모은 대규모 전시다.
팝업북을 읽어보고 대형 팝업 구조물을 감상할 수 있는 ‘아트 팝업’ 공간과, 디지털 작품을 직접 체험할 수 있는 ‘아트 게임’ 공간으로 구성됐다.
특히, 전시에서는 두 작가의 협업 작품인 △곡예사 가족 △울프–저 높은 곳의 늑대에게 △베르소의 원화를 국내 최초로 공개한다. 두 작가의 대표작인 △나무늘보가 사는 숲에서 △바다이야기 등 다양한 작품의 아이디어 스케치, 원화, 팝업 모형 등을 전시한다.
또한, 전시와 연계하여 직접 팝업북을 만들어 볼 수 있는 교육 프로그램도 마련되며, 교육 프로그램은 현대어린이책미술관 홈페이지를 통해 사전 접수할 수 있다.
현대백화점 관계자는 “예술성과 상상력이 어우러진 팝업북의 세계를 통해 어린이와 가족 모두에게 특별한 전시 경험을 선사하고자 한다”고 말했다.
