홍준표 전 대구시장은 7월26일 인터넷 저널인 페이스북에 “지난 2021년 10월 국민의힘 대선후보 경선 때 특정종교가 개입했다”는 내용을 폭로-공개했다.

이에 대해 국민의힘 당사자와 신천지 예수교회회측은 반론을 펼쳤다.
