세종시교육청 학교지원본부, ‘2025 기관연계 여름방학 늘봄캠프’ 운영

세종시교육청 학교지원본부가 7월 28일부터 8월 18일까지 3주간 ‘2025 기관연계 여름방학 늘봄캠프’를 운영한다고 밝혔다. 이번 캠프는 지역사회와 연계하여 아이들의 발달 단계에 맞춘 맞춤형 프로그램을 통해 신나고 의미 있는 여름방학을 제공하는 데 목적을 두고 있다.

늘봄캠프 운영에는 건축공간연구원, 과학기술정책연구원, 국토연구원, 한국법제연구원, 한국조세재정연구원, 한국직업능력연구원, 한국발명진흥회, 한국산림복지진흥원, 국립세종수목원, 홍익대학교 세종캠퍼스 산학협력단 등 10개 기관이 협력 기관으로 참여한다. 

학교지원본부는 이들 기관과 2024년 12월부터 2025년 4월까지 업무협약을 체결했으며, 앞으로도 지역사회 기관과의 협력을 지속 확대해 나갈 계획이다.

이번 캠프는 세종시 관내 19개 초등학교 1, 2학년 학생들을 대상으로 진행되며, 두 가지 운영 유형으로 나뉜다. ‘친구들과 함께하는 숲과 상상력 캠프’는 한국발명진흥회, 한국산림복지진흥원, 국립세종수목원, 홍익대학교 산학협력단이 참여해 발명교육, 숲교육, 생태융합교육, 생활과학교육 등 다양한 프로그램을 10개 학교에 제공한다.

‘박사님과 함께 만드는 미래탐구 캠프’는 건축공간연구원, 과학기술정책연구원, 국토연구원 등 6개 기관이 참여해 미래 탐구 중심의 융합 프로그램을 9개 학교에서 운영한다.

이미자 학교지원본부장은 “이번 늘봄캠프를 통해 초등 저학년 학생들이 즐겁고 신나는 여름방학을 보내는 동시에 의미 있는 배움의 기회를 갖기를 기대한다”며, “앞으로도 지역사회와의 협력을 강화해 아이들의 건강한 성장을 지원하는 질 높은 늘봄 프로그램을 지속해서 제공해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

세종시교육청 학교지원본부는 앞으로도 지역사회 공공기관 및 국책연구기관과 긴밀히 협력해 학생들의 지속적인 배움과 성장을 위한 현장 중심 지원을 강화해 나갈 방침이다.

Sejong City Office of Education School Support Headquarters announced that it will operate the ‘2025 Institution-linked Summer Vacation Neulbom Camp’ for three weeks from July 28 to August 18. The camp aims to provide an exciting and meaningful summer vacation through customized programs tailored to children’s development stages in cooperation with the local community.

Ten organizations, including the Architectural Research Institute, Science and Technology Policy Institute, Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements, Korea Legislation Research Institute, Korea Institute of Public Finance, Korea Research Institute of Vocational Education and Training, Korea Invention Promotion Association, Korea Forest Welfare Promotion Institute, National Arboretum, and Hongik University Sejong Campus Industry-Academic Cooperation Group, will participate as cooperative organizations in the Neulbom Camp.

The School Support Headquarters signed a business agreement with these organizations from December 2024 to April 2025, and plans to continue expanding cooperation with local community organizations in the future.

This camp will be held for first and second grade students at 19 elementary schools in Sejong City, and is divided into two types of operation. The ‘Forest and Imagination Camp with Friends’ will provide various programs such as invention education, forest education, ecological convergence education, and life science education to 10 schools with the participation of the Korea Invention Promotion Association, Korea Forest Welfare Promotion Institute, National Arboretum of Sejong, and Hongik University Industry-Academic Cooperation Group.

The ‘Future Exploration Camp with Doctors’ will operate a convergence program centered on future exploration at 9 schools with the participation of 6 organizations including the Architectural Research Institute, Science and Technology Policy Institute, and Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements.

Lee Mi-ja, the head of the School Support Headquarters, said, “Through this spring camp, we hope that elementary school students in the lower grades will have a fun and exciting summer vacation while also having a meaningful learning opportunity,” and added, “We will continue to provide high-quality spring programs that support children’s healthy growth by strengthening cooperation with the local community.”

The Sejong City Office of Education School Support Headquarters plans to continue to work closely with local public institutions and national research institutes to strengthen field-centered support for students’ continuous learning and growth.
