충남 서산시가 올해 제2회 추가경정예산(추경) 1천100억 원을 편성하여 민생경제 회복과 시민 삶의 질 향상을 위한 다양한 사업을 본격 추진한다.
이번 추경은 지난 7월 25일 제307회 서산시의회 임시회에서 의결되었으며, 이에 따라 서산시는 연간 총 1조 4000억 원 규모의 예산을 집행하게 됐다.
주요 예산 내용으로는 지역사랑상품권 100억 원 추가 발행, 소상공인 특화 지원사업 9천만 원, 소상공인 특례 보증금 3억 원 등이 포함되어 지역 내 소비 촉진과 영세 자영업자 지원에 무게를 뒀다. 또한, 지방투자촉진보조금 84억 5천만 원, 외국인 투자기업 지원 44억 원 등 우량 기업 유치와 지역경제 활성화를 위한 지원도 대폭 반영됐다.
시민 생활환경 및 정주 여건 개선을 위한 인프라 확충 예산도 동시 편성됐다. 소외 읍·면 지역 도시가스 공급 특별지원 28억 원, 수석지구 도시개발사업 75억 원, 기은~오지 연결도로 건설 18억 원이 해당된다.
민생교통 복지 확대를 위해 행복택시 운영 5억 원, 75세 이상 어르신 버스비 무료 지원 2억 5천만 원, 어린이·청소년 버스비 무료화 3억 3천만 원 등이 반영되어 다양한 계층의 이동권 증진에도 신경을 썼다.
이 밖에도 양대동 파크골프장 확장 9억 원, 대산 파크골프장 조성 2억 5천만 원, 서산창작예술촌 건립 5억 3천만 원 등 문화체육 인프라 확충 예산도 함께 편성됐다.
이완섭 서산시장은 “이번 추가경정예산을 활용해 시민이 체감할 수 있는 민생경제, 삶의 질 향상을 위한 사업을 체계적이고 속도감 있게 추진해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
