브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 하워드 러트닉 미국 상무장관은 한미 15% 상호관세 협상 타결과 관련, 한국인 대미 투자를 약속한 3500억 달러(한화 486조원)로 인한 수익금 90%는 미국인들에게 돌아갈 것이라고 밝혔다.
러트닉 장관은 30일(현지시간) SNS X를 통해 "오늘 우리는 또다른 역사적인 무역합의를 이뤘다. 한국은 트럼프 대통령이 지정하는대로 대미 투자에 3500억달러를 제공할 것이며, 이중 90% 이익은 미국인들에게 향할 것"이라고 적었다.
그는 이어 "한국은 또한 향후 3년반 동안 1000억달러의 미국산 액화천연가스(LNG)와 다른 에너지 제품을 구매하기로 합의했다"고도 설명했다.
그러면서 "몇주내로 한국 대통령이 백악관을 방문할 때, 트럼프 대통령과 이재명 대통령은 한국 기업들이 미국에 투자할 대규모 투자를 발표할 것이다"고 덧붙였다.
