[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 조규일 진주시장은 31일 집중호우로 큰 피해를 입은 명석면 일대 피해 현장을 찾아 응급복구 상황을 점검하고 추가 보완 필요 여부를 직접 확인했다고 31일 밝혔다.
조 시장이 방문한 곳은 내율마을 진입도로, 오미1교, 남성저수지 인근 시도17호선 등으로, 집중호우로 도로 유실과 교량 손상이 발생한 지역이다.
내율마을 진입도로는 법면 토사 유출로 배수가 되지 않아 우수가 넘쳐 농경지 인근 도로 일부가 유실돼 현재 응급복구는 완료된 상태다.
오미1교는 하천 토사 유실로 다리 붕괴 우려가 있어 차량 통행이 제한돼 시는 오는 8월 중 우회도로를 개설하고 연내 다리 신설공사를 착공할 계획이다.
