인천시교육청에 따르면, 결대로진로센터는 학생들의 자기 주도적인 진로·학업 설계와 컨설팅, 진로 개발 역량 향상을 체계적으로 지원하는 마을 기반 진로·진학 교육 전문 기관이다.
동부 센터 개소로 인천 전역에서 누구나 쉽게 진로 교육 자원에 접근할 수 있는 기반이 마련됐다.
동부 결대로진로센터는 진로진학상담실(마중물)과 통합 운영하며 맞춤형 진로·진학 컨설팅, AI 기반 대학 모의 면접, 교육과정 연계 진로체험프로그램 등을 2학기부터 본격 운영한다.
특히, 동부 결대로진로센터는 AI 기반 대학 모의 면접 등 진학 관련 프로그램을 특화해 학생들의 실질적인 진로 설계를 지원할 방침이다.
인천시교육청 관계자는 “동부 결대로진로센터는 학생·학부모·교사가 함께 소통하고 성장하는 진로·진학 교육의 허브로 동부 지역 학생들의 진로 개발에 실질적인 도움이 되도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
