[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 여성농업인의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 ‘여성농업인 바우처 카드’를 지난 1일부터 본격 지급했다고 밝혔다.
이 사업은 지난 2017년 처음 도입, 농촌에서 영농과 가사를 병행하는 여성농업인을 대상으로 생활복지와 문화 접근성을 높이고자 매년 추진되고 있다.
지원 대상은 진주시에 거주하면서 실제 영농에 종사하고, 농업경영체에 등록된 20세 이상 75세 미만 여성농업인이다.
올해는 자부담 없이 20만원이 충전된 바우처 카드로 지급되며, 건강·문화·복지 분야의 도내 지정 가맹점에서만 사용할 수 있다.
카드는 본인만 사용 가능하며, 타인에게 양도하거나 부정사용 시 회수될 수 있으며, 사용 기한은 올해 연말까지며 미사용 잔액은 자동 소멸된다.
연말까지 카드를 사용하지 않을 경우 내년도 바우처 지원 대상에서 제외될 수 있으므로 수령자들의 각별한 주의가 요구된다.
올해 총 대상자 4500여명 중 1차로 선정된 3794명은 주소지 관할 읍면사무소 또는 동행정복지센터를 방문해 신분증 확인 후 수령할 수 있다.
진주시 이정희 농업정책과 과장은 “여성 농업인이 당당한 농촌의 주체로 성장할 수 있도록 실효성 있는 맞춤형 정책을 지속적으로 발굴해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
