브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= KB국민카드(사장 김재관)의 금융과 일상을 연결하는 종합금융플랫폼 KB Pay가 지난 7월 25일 가입 고객 1500만명을 돌파했다고 5일 밝혔다.
KB국민카드에 따르면 KB Pay 가입 고객은 2023년 1124만명, 2024년 말 1371만명에서 올해 7월 말 1511만명을 넘어섰다.
이에 따라 MAU(월간 활성이용자 수)도 1000만명을 돌파했다.
KB Pay 월간 활성이용자 수는 23년 말 736만명, 24년 말 826만명, 올해 7월에는 1006만명을 기록했다. 23년 말 대비 약 37%, 270만명 증가했다.
단기간 사용자 수 추이를 보여주는 DAU(일간 활성이용자 수) 역시 증가했다. 23년 말 172만명, 24년 말 173만명, 올해 7월에는 204만명으로 23년말 대비 약 19%, 32만명 증가했다.
이에 대해 KB국민카드 관계자는 “금융 콘텐츠에 대한 끊임없는 서비스 개선과 비금융 콘텐츠에 대한 다양한 확대 노력으로 KB Pay 회원 1500만명 돌파했다”고 평가하며 “향후에도 플랫폼 데이터를 활용한 개인화 서비스 영역을 확대하고 일상 생활에 필요한 다양한 콘텐츠 확대를 통해 혁신적인 고객 경험을 지속적으로 제공해 나갈 것”이라고 말했다.
