【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=한국건강관리협회 대구광역시지부(본부장 김태욱, 이하 ‘건협 대구’)는 지난 5일 ‘사랑의 생명 나눔 헌혈 캠페인’을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 캠페인은 혈액 수급 안정화와 생명 존중 문화 확산을 목표로 한다.
여름철 휴가, 방학, 폭염 등으로 인해 헌혈 참여는 줄어드는 반면, 교통사고와 질병 등으로 인한 수혈 수요는 꾸준히 증가하면서 발생하는 혈액 부족 문제에 대응하기 위해 마련됐다.
헌혈은 건협 대구지부 청사 앞에 배치된 헌혈 차량에서 오전 10시부터 오후 4시까지 현장 채혈 방식으로 진행됐다.
건협 임직원뿐 아니라 지역 주민들도 자발적으로 참여해 생명 나눔의 뜻을 더했다.
김태욱 본부장은 “생명 가치 존중을 위한 작은 실천인 헌혈을 통해 지역 사회의 혈액 수급 안정에 기여하고, 공공의료기관으로서의 사회적 책임을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
