거창군, 산청군 수해복구 자원봉사활동 실시

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군 여성단체협의회는 7일 산청군 단성면에서 수해복구 자원봉사활동을 펼쳤다.

경상남도자원봉사센터의 요청으로 진행된 이번 봉사활동은 산청군 단성면 중촌마을 내 침수가옥 복구 및 그 외 시설 복구 작업 등의 자원봉사활동을 펼쳤다.

거창군 여성단체협의회 회원 45명은 이른 아침부터 산청군 단성면 중촌마을로 달려가 수해로 엉망이 된 침수 가옥 내 토사물 제거 작업 후 내·외부 청소 및 가재도구 정리 등의 자원봉사활동을 펼쳤고, 마을 내 도움의 손길이 필요한 곳을 찾아 수해복구 작업에 힘을 보탰다. 

박진수 복지정책과장은 “덥고 습한 날씨에도 불구하고 많은 인원이 아침부터 피해지역으로 달려가, 성심성의껏 봉사해 주신 거창군 여성단체협의회 자원봉사자 모두에게 깊이 감사드린다”고 말했다.

한편, 거창군자원봉사센터에서는 호우피해지역 복구 등의 상황을 판단 후 자원봉사 추가 요청 있을 시, 신속한 자원봉사자 모집을 통해 적재적소에 자원봉사자들이 활동할 수 있도록 노력할 예정이다.
