[브레이크뉴스=박찬호 기자] 한국남동발전(사장 강기윤)은 최근 집중호우로 하천범람, 산사태 발생, 주택·농경지 침수 등의 피해를 입은 경남 합천군을 찾아 신속한 복구와 이재민 지원을 위해 5천만원의 구호성금을 기탁했다고 7일 밝혔다.

이번 기탁식은 강기윤 한국남동발전 사장, 김윤철 합천군수, 박희순 대한적십자사 경남지사회장 등이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.

강기윤 한국남동발전 사장은 “갑작스러운 폭우로 삶의 터전을 잃은 합천군민들의 아픔을 함께 나누고, 조속한 피해 복구에 보탬이 되고자 구호성금을 마련했다”며, “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 지속가능한 나눔활동을 확대하겠다”고 약속했다.

김윤철 합천군수는 “호우피해로 힘든 시간을 겪고 있는 군민들에게 따뜻한 마음을 전해주어 고맙다”며, “피해지역 복구와 군민 생활안정에 큰 힘이 될 것”이라며 감사의 인사를 전했다.
