【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장 곽진환)가 교육부와 한국연구재단이 주관한 2주기(2022~2024년) 전문대학 혁신지원사업 성과평가(2024학년도)에서 A등급을 받았다.

이번 평가 결과에 따라 선린대학교는 2025년 전문대학 혁신지원사업비로 인센티브 약 15억 원을 포함한 총 33억 원을 확보하게 됐다. 대학은 이를 기반으로 중장기 발전계획에 부합하는 교육역량 강화와 지역사회 협력체계 고도화를 가속화할 계획이다.
3주기(2025~2027년) 전문대학 혁신지원사업은 정부의 전문대학 재정지원사업 중 최대 규모를 자랑한다. 선린대학교는 이번 평가에서 ‘사업 추진 실적’과 ‘자체 성과관리’ 부문에서 특히 높은 점수를 받으며 우수성을 입증했다.
김병용 대학혁신지원단장은 “이번 성과는 미래 사회 변화에 대응하는 혁신 교육 실현을 위해 지난 3년간 대학 구성원 모두가 힘을 모은 결실”이라며, “3주기 사업기간(2025~2027년)에도 ▲창의·주도적 미래융합형 인재 ▲디지털 신기술 기반 창의·융합형 실무인재 ▲지·산·학 ‘선린동행모델’ 고도화를 통한 현장실무형 인재 ▲사회가치 실현을 통한 인성·역량 겸비 실천형 인재 양성을 목표로 지역 명문대학으로 도약하겠다”고 말했다.
선린대학교는 2022년부터 3년 연속 혁신지원사업 성과평가에서 A등급을 획득했다. 또한 RISE(지역혁신중심대학 지원체계) 사업에서도 2025~2029년 5년간 약 95억 원의 사업비를 확보해 지역사회와 대학의 균형발전을 이끌고 있다.

Sunlin University Receives A Grade in Junior College Innovation Support Project for Third Consecutive Year, Secures KRW 3.3 Billion
Sunlin University (President Kwak Jin-hwan) received an A grade in the 2nd Cycle (2022-2024) Junior College Innovation Support Project Performance Evaluation (2024 academic year) hosted by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea.
Based on this evaluation, Sunlin University will secure a total of KRW 3.3 billion, including approximately KRW 1.5 billion in incentives, for the 2025 Junior College Innovation Support Project. Based on this funding, the university plans to accelerate the strengthening of educational capabilities and the advancement of its community collaboration system in line with its mid- to long-term development plan.
The 3rd Cycle (2025-2027) Junior College Innovation Support Project boasts the largest amount of government financial support for junior colleges. Sunlin University demonstrated its excellence in this evaluation, receiving particularly high scores in the "Project Implementation Performance" and "Self-Performance Management" categories.
Kim Byeong-yong, Director of the University Innovation Support Center, stated, "This achievement is the culmination of three years of collaborative efforts by all university members to realize innovative education that responds to future societal changes." Seonrin University has received an A grade in the Innovation Support Project Performance Evaluation for three consecutive years since 2022. Furthermore, the RISE (Regional Innovation-Oriented University Support System) project has secured approximately KRW 9.5 billion in funding over the five years from 2025 to 2029, fostering balanced development between the local community and the university.
