【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=한국건강관리협회 대구광역시지부(본부장 김태욱)가 지난 13일 신천 지역아동센터 아동들을 대상으로 사회공헌 건강검진을 진행했다.
의료 혜택에서 소외되기 쉬운 아동들의 조기 건강관리를 돕기 위한 취지다.
이번 검진은 아동들의 현재 건강 상태를 체계적으로 점검하고, 필요한 건강 정보를 제공하는 데 중점을 두었다.
이를 통해 질병을 예방하고 적절한 시기에 치료받을 수 있는 기반을 마련하고자 했다.
김태욱 본부장은 “미래를 이끌어갈 아동들이 건강하게 성장하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “공공 의료기관으로서 지역 아동들이 필요한 의료 지원을 적시에 받을 수 있도록 책임과 역할을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
건협 대구지부는 난방비 지원, 지역아동복지센터 후원, 제로웨이스트 캠페인, 임직원 헌혈, 장애인·시설아동 건강검진 등 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 이어가고 있다.
