이만규 의장을 비롯해 이재화·김원규 부의장, 하중환 운영위원장 등 확대의장단은 이날 오후 1시30분 대구시 충무상황실을 방문했다.
이들은 오는 21일까지 4일간 진행되는 2025년 을지연습 훈련상황을 직접 참관했다.
확대의장단은 을지연습 주관 부서인 사회재난과장으로부터 훈련상황 보고를 받았다. 이어 공무원과 군인, 경찰 등 관계자들의 비상대비태세 상황을 면밀히 살펴봤다.
특히 연일 계속되는 폭염 속에서도 을지연습에 만전을 기하고 있는 관계자들의 고충을 살폈다. 확대의장단은 내실 있는 훈련이 될 수 있도록 현장 관계자들을 독려했다.
이만규 의장은 "국가비상대비태세 확립을 목표로 실전과 같은 훈련을 실시해 달라'며 '완벽한 위기대응 능력을 갖추는 데 만전을 다해달라"고 당부했다.
