【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주박물관은 유아·초등학생 가족 단위를 대상으로 주말 체험 행사 ‘중앙탑 해부학 실습’을 오는 23일부터 16주간 충주박물관 2층 교육실에서 운영한다.
이 프로그램은 아이들이 중앙탑(충주 탑평리 칠층석탑)의 역사적 의미와 석탑의 구조를 체험 활동을 통해 자연스럽게 이해하며, 지역의 역사와 문화에 대한 지속적인 관심을 가지게 하고자 기획했다.
프로그램은 △중앙탑을 실물로 보며 탑을 탐색하고 여러 게임을 통해 중앙탑과 친해지기 △중앙탑과 관련된 다양한 이야기들을 활동지로 알아보기 △3D프린터로 제작한 중앙탑 부재로 직접 중앙탑을 쌓아보기 △나무 블록, 마시멜로 등 다양한 재료를 활용해 나만의 탑을 만드는 창작 활동으로 진행된다.
참가 대상은 유아 · 초등학생 자녀를 둔 가족으로 8월 23일부터 12월 14일까지 16주간 매주 토요일과 일요일 10:00~12:00에 운영한다.
참가비는 무료이며, 충주시 통합예약 누리집에서 월별로 신청할 수 있고 회차별 8가족씩 선착순 모집한다.
박흥수 충주박물관장은“충주시의 대표 문화유산인 중앙탑을 충주시민들에게 상세히 소개해 관심을 두게 하고자 기획한 프로그램”이라며, “앞으로도 어린이와 가족들이 박물관과 지역의 문화유산에 애정을 가질 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 전했다.

Chungju Museum Recruiting Participants for "Central Pagoda Anatomy Lab" Weekend Experience
The Chungju Museum will host a 16-week weekend experience program, "Central Pagoda Anatomy Lab," for families with young children and elementary school students in the museum's second-floor education room, starting August 23rd.
This program aims to help children understand the historical significance and structure of the Central Pagoda (the Seven-story Stone Pagoda in Tappyeong-ri, Chungju) through hands-on activities, while fostering a sustained interest in local history and culture.
The program includes: 1) viewing the Central Pagoda in person, exploring it, and playing various games to become familiar with it; 2) learning about various stories related to the Central Pagoda through activity sheets; 3) building a Central Pagoda using 3D-printed Central Pagoda components; and 3) creating their own towers using various materials like wooden blocks and marshmallows.
Participation is open to families with young children and elementary school students. The program runs every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for 16 weeks, from August 23rd to December 14th. Participation is free. Monthly registration is available on the Chungju City Integrated Reservation website. Each session is limited to eight families, on a first-come, first-served basis.
