파주시 교하도서관이 광복절과 2차 세계대전 종전 80주년을 기념해 진행한 '어린이와 함께 보고 싶은 평화 그림책 100선' 전시와 낭독 행사를 성공적으로 마쳤다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 미래 세대에게 평화의 중요성을 알리기 위해 기획되었다.
전시에는 어린이도서연구회가 선정한 그림책 100권이 '전쟁 없는 평화', '차별 없는 평화', '지구를 살리는 평화', '동물에게도 평화' 등 4가지 주제로 소개되었다.
또한, 8월 9일부터 17일까지 총 4차례에 걸쳐 진행된 낭독 행사에는 어린이 6명이 참여했다.
어린이도서연구회 회원들이 그림책을 읽어주었으며, 어린이들은 평화를 주제로 한 체험 활동을 즐겼다.
이재면 교하도서관장은 "이번 행사를 통해 평화의 소중함을 다시 한번 생각할 수 있었다"며 "앞으로도 다양한 독서 체험 프로그램을 마련하겠다"고 말했다.

Paju City's Kyoha Library announced the successful completion of its exhibition and reading event, "100 Peace Picture Books to Read with Children," commemorating Liberation Day and the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
This event was designed to raise awareness of the importance of peace for future generations.
The exhibition featured 100 picture books selected by the Children's Book Research Association, presented under four themes: "Peace Without War," "Peace Without Discrimination," "Peace That Saves the Earth," and "Peace for Animals."
Six children also participated in the reading events, held four times from August 9th to 17th.
Members of the Children's Book Research Association read the picture books, and the children enjoyed hands-on activities related to peace.
Lee Jae-myeon, Director of Kyoha Library, said, "This event allowed us to reflect once again on the importance of peace," adding, "We will continue to offer diverse reading experiences."
