(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천본부세관이 오는 9월 30일까지 수출입기업 및 관계자 등을 대상으로 원산지검증 대응 지원사업 컨설팅을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
인천본부세관에 따르면, ‘원산지검증 대응 지원사업’은 FTA 활용기업이 원산지 사후 검증에 따른 불이익을 당하지 않도록, 원산지검증 대비가 필요한 중소기업을 전문 컨설턴트가 직접 방문해 업체별 맞춤형 컨설팅으로 제공하는 사업이다.
인천본부세관은 상반기에도 원산지검증 대응 지원사업을 통해 총 61개 기업을 대상으로 FTA을 활용해 수출경쟁력을 확보할 수 있도록 약 1억 원의 금액을 지원하였다.
하반기 사업은 미국의 관세정책 변화에 따라 대미 수출기업의 원산지관리가 더욱 중요해짐에 따라, 대미 중소 수출기업을 최우선으로 선정해 기업이 원산지관리 능력을 갖출 수 있도록 집중 지원할 예정이다.
미국 등 체약 상대국으로부터 원산지검증 요청을 받았을 때 제대로 준비되지 않은 중소기업에게는 큰 부담이 될 수 있으며, 자칫 관리가 소홀할 경우에는 추징에 따른 손해배상, 무역거래 단절 등 불이익이 발생할 수 있으므로 이를 예방하기 위해서다.
약 17개 업체에 약 2천7백만 원을 지원할 계획이며, 컨설팅 지원 금액은 기업별 자문 평가 등급 및 기업 규모(전년도 매출액 기준)에 따라 최대 200만 원까지의 자문 비용이 차등 지원된다.
