홍영숙 화가 초대전 '보이지 않아도, 여기에'가 오는 8월 29일(금) 오후 5시 개막식을 시작으로 9월 17일(수)까지 갤러리 내일에서 전시된다.
작가는 "보이지 않더라도 늘 우리 곁에 머무는 것들이 있다"며 "빛과 바람, 그리고 삶의 숨결처럼 말없이 스며들어 흔적을 남기는 것들이다"고 전한다.

그러면서 "이번 전시는 일상의 희로애락과 생명의 울림을 색채와 선의 리듬으로 풀어낸 작품들을 선보인다"며 "겹겹이 쌓인 색의 흔적은 눈앞에 보이지 않는 것들마저 감각하게 하며, 내면 깊숙이 잠든 기억과 감정을 불러낸다"고 말한다.
이번 전시 기간 중에는 특별히 정병모 교수(경주대학교 문화재학과)의 민화와 현대미술에 관한 세미나가 마련되어, 전통 민화의 조형성과 현대 회화의 감각을 함께 성찰하는 시간을 나눈다.

갤러리 내일 측은 "홍영숙의 회화는 늘 '형상너머'를 지향해왔다"며 "그것은 단순한 추상 표현을 넘어 회화가 감각과 존재를 사유하는 통로가 될 수 있음을 보여준다"고 설명한다.
이어 "이번 개인전에는 보이지 않는 것들을 어떻게 시각적으로 호출할 수 있을까에 대한 작가의 깊은 탐구를 담고 있다"며 "이는 단지 보이지 않는 것을 재현하는 방식이 아니라, 그것들이 감각의 언어로 어떤 식으로 포착될 수 있는지를 질문하는 시도"라고 덧붙였다.
관람 시간은 매일 11:00~18:00시(월요일 휴관, 일요일 예약 관람)까지 가능하다.

Hong Young-sook's invitational exhibition, "Even if Invisible, Here," will be held at Gallery Naeil, kicking off with an opening ceremony on Friday, August 29th at 5 PM and running until Wednesday, September 17th.
The artist explains, "There are things that remain with us, even if they are invisible. Like light, wind, and the breath of life, they silently permeate and leave traces."
He adds, "This exhibition presents works that express the joys and sorrows of everyday life and the resonance of life through the rhythm of color and line. The layered traces of color evoke even the invisible, evoking memories and emotions buried deep within."
During the exhibition, Professor Jeong Byeong-mo (Department of Cultural Heritage, Gyeongju University) will present a seminar on folk painting and contemporary art, offering a chance to reflect on the formative qualities of traditional folk painting and the sensibilities of contemporary painting.
Gallery Tomorrow explains, "Hong Young-sook's paintings have always aimed 'beyond form.' They go beyond mere abstract expression and demonstrate that painting can serve as a conduit for contemplating sensation and existence."
They added, "This solo exhibition embodies the artist's deep exploration of how to visually evoke the invisible. This is not simply a method of representing the invisible, but an attempt to question how it can be captured through the language of the senses."
