【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시립우륵국악단(단장 김진석)은 오는 9월 2일 오후 7시 30분, 충주시문화회관에서 제75회 정기연주회 ‘정체성Ⅱ’을 선보인다.
이번 공연은 지난 3월 열린 제74회 정기연주회 ‘정체성’의 후속작으로, “우리의 정체성은 무엇인가?”라는 질문에 대한 답을 찾아가는 무대다.
그동안 국악관현악 중심의 연주를 이어온 우륵국악단은 이번 공연에서 전통을 기반으로 새로운 접근을 시도한다.
창작 음악과 전통음악을 함께 아우르며, 국악의 음악적 외연을 확장하는 무대를 선보일 계획이다.
특히 이번 연주회에서는 택견, 종묘제례악, 처용무, 가곡, 판소리 등 우리나라를 대표하는 유네스코 인류무형문화유산 23개 종목 가운데 5개 작품이 무대에 오른다.
