(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 지난 18일부터 22일까지 베트남 호치민시에서 한국어 기반 청소년 국제교류 활동 ‘K-문화사절단(인천세계로배움학교)’을 성공적으로 마무리했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, K-문화사절단은 이주배경 학생과 비이주배경 학생, 지도교사가 한 팀을 이뤄 한국 문화를 세계에 알리기 위해 모집되었으며, 베트남을 비롯해 카자흐스탄, 우즈베키스탄 등 다양한 배경의 학생들이 함께 참여했다.
사전 단계에서는 인천 바로알기 활동, 베트남 문화 이해 교육, 호치민시한국국제학교 학생들과의 사전 교류 등을 진행했다.

프로그램에 참여한 한 학생은 “호치민에 있는 한국학교 친구들과 마을 어르신들의 건강에 대한 고민을 함께 나누는 공동 탐구를 하면서, 앞으로 베트남 분들과 함께 일하는 직업을 갖게 될 수도 있겠다는 생각을 하게 됐다”고 소감을 전했다.
인천시교육청 관계자는 “학생들이 세계 무대를 배경으로 자신의 재능을 발휘하고 글로컬 리더로 성장할 수 있도록 이번 프로그램을 준비했다”며 “앞으로도 학생들이 글로벌 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 다양한 국제교류 기회를 확대하겠다”고 말했다.

또한, 인천시교육청이 지난 24일 한국방송통신대학교 인천지역대학과 함께 한 ‘2025 읽걷쓰 시민 인문학 북콘서트’가 시민 350여 명이 참여한 가운데 성황리에 마무리됐다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 행사는 인천시교육청의 대표 정책인 ‘읽걷쓰’ 철학을 시민과 공유하고, 책을 읽고 길을 걸으며 생각을 기록하는 실천을 모색하고 함께 성찰하는 자리로 마련됐다.
특히 AI시대에 기계가 대체할 수 없는 사유·성찰·창의성의 중요성을 강조하며 생활 인문학의 의미를 되새겼다.
