세종시, 초등학교 55곳 주변 유해광고물 집중 단속

세종시가 개학기를 맞아 관내 초등학교 55곳 주변을 중심으로 불법 유해광고물 집중정비에 나선다고 27일 밝혔다.

정비 기간은 다음달 26일까지며  교통과 보행에 방해가 되는 현수막, 입간판, 풍선형 입간판(에어라이트) 등 불법 유동광고물과 선정적인 유해광고물 등이 대상이다.

시는 어린이 보호구역 내에 설치된 정당현수막에 대해서도 설치기준 준수, 과격한 문구 사용 자제 등을 지역 정당에 요청해 쾌적한 통학환경을 조성한다는 계획이다.

점검 결과 위법한 사례가 적발될 경우 관련법령에 따라 시정명령, 과태료 및 이행강제금 부과 등 행정처분을 실시하기로 했다.

이두희 세종시 도시주택국장은 “신학기를 맞아 불법 유해광고물을 철저히 정비해 깨끗하고 안전한 통학 환경을 조성할 계획”이라며 “앞으로도 어린이 안전을 최우선으로 하는 도시환경 구축을 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
