충남 서산시가 산업통상자원부로부터 ‘산업위기 선제대응지역’으로 지정되면서 침체에 빠진 대산석유화학단지가 새로운 국면을 맞고 있다. 이번 결정은 지난 5월 전남 여수에 이어 전국 두 번째 사례로, 그 자체만으로도 의미 있는 성과라는 평가를 받는다.
