충남 당진시가 오는 9월 1일부터 올해말까지 당진사랑상품권의 할인율을 18%로 확대한다고 29일 밝혔다.
당진시의 이번 조치는 정부의 지역화폐 발행 규모 확대 방침과 당진시 특별재난지역 지정에 따른 것으로, 기본할인 13%에 추가 5%가 더해진 18%를 확대 적용하게 된다.
할인율 확대로 인한 구매한도 조정에 따라 월 구매 한도는 기존 50만 원에서 40만 원으로 축소된다.
추가 5% 할인은 선할인 또는 캐시백 방식으로 운영되며, 캐시백 방식이 확정될 경우 ‘chak(착)’ 앱을 통해 적립금이 지급되고, 지류 상품권과 정책 수당은 지급 대상에서 제외되며, 예산 소진 시 조기 종료될 수 있다고 당진시가 전했다.
현재 당진사랑상품권은 음식점·학원 등 6000여 개 관내 가맹점에서 사용할 수 있다.
