[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 1일 이달의 우수 자원봉사왕에 박문경(62)씨를 선정해 시상했다고 밝혔다.
박 씨는 2019년 김해시동부노인종합복지관에서 자원봉사활동을 시작해 현재까지 5년간 지속적으로 봉사활동을 해오고 있다. 이뿐 아니라 은석요양원 프로그램과 식사 보조 등 다양한 자원봉사활동에 참여해 지난 한 달간 총 16회 62시간 봉사하는 등 총누적 봉사 시간이 320회 1,270시간에 이른다.
박 씨는 “주위의 자원봉사자들에 비해 한참 부족한 것 같은데 이렇게 상을 받게 되어 감사하다. 올해 유난히 더운 날씨로 인해 힘들다는 생각을 했었는데 힘내라고 주신 상이라 여기고 묵묵히 자원봉사를 이어가야겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
홍태용 시장은 “기록적인 무더위 속에서도 헌신적으로 활동하시는 자원봉사자들의 노고에 진심으로 감사드리며 자원봉사자분들이 자부심을 갖고 활동할 수 있도록 지원과 인정예우 사업 확대에 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
김해시는 매달 1365자원봉사포털 기준 전년도 누적 200시간 이상 활동한 자원봉사자 중 한 달간 활동 시간과 횟수가 가장 많은 이를 우수 자원봉사왕으로 선정해 시상하고 있다.
