서구에 따르면, 구는 지난 7월 23일부터 8월 8일까지 효행, 사회봉사, 환경, 문화예술, 체육진흥, 지역경제, 교육, 특별부문 등 8개 부문에서 구민상 후보자를 추천받았다.
특별부문은 후보자가 접수되지 않아, 구는 7개 부문 후보자를 두고 현지 실사와 구민상 심의위원회 심의를 거쳐 29일 수상자를 확정했다.
부문별 수상자로는 효행 부문 임상길, 사회봉사 부문 권오분씨, 김기철, 김재경, 환경 부문 원기환, 문화예술 부문 서덕현, 체육진흥 부문 이권정아, 한충희씨, 지역경제 부문 임인걸, 교육 부문 김부경이 선정됐다.
강범석 서구청장은 “그동안 각자 분야서 지역사회를 빛내오신 수상자분들에게 감사의 말씀을 드리며, 64만 구민의 마음을 담아 진심으로 축하드린다”고 말했다.
