(구례=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남 구례군이 오는 18일부터 20일까지 3일간 서시천 체육공원과 구례5일장 일원에서 ‘2025 구례동편소리축제’를 개최한다.
올해 축제는 ‘위대한 유산, K-소리’를 주제로 동편제 판소리의 정통성을 살리면서도 현대적인 감각을 더한 다채로운 프로그램으로 관객들을 맞이할 예정이다.
축제 첫날인 18일에는 오전 10시부터 구례5일장에서 풍물놀이와 마술 공연 등 흥겨운 거리 공연이 펼쳐져 축제 분위기를 한껏 끌어올린다.
19일 저녁 7시에는 축제의 하이라이트인 개막제가 열린다. 먼저 ‘구례의 소리Ⅰ’ 무대에서 지역 명창들이 구례의 깊은 소리를 선보이고, 이어지는 개막제는 줄타기 명인 남창동의 아슬아슬한 줄타기 공연으로 시작된다.
주제 공연인 ‘위대한 유산, K-소리’에서는 명창들의 진한 판소리와 함께 한국예술종합학교 무용단의 아름다운 창작 무용인 ‘학춤’, 김상연 명인의 대금 산조 공연 등이 어우러지며 전통과 창작의 조화를 선보인다.
축제의 피날레는 성악가 신문희가 부르는 ‘아름다운 나라’를 전 출연진이 함께 합창하며 감동을 선사할 예정이다. 또한, 100여 개의 경품 추첨 이벤트도 준비되어 축제에 재미를 더한다.
축제 마지막 날인 20일에는 동편제판소리전수관에서 해설이 있는 판소리 무대가 마련되어 동편제의 역사와 매력을 쉽고 깊이 있게 전달한다. 저녁에는 미래의 국악을 책임질 신예 소리꾼들과 구례꿈나무동편소리 합창단이 ‘차세대 K-소리’ 무대를 꾸민다.
