(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청AI융합교육원이 3일 관내 초등학교 교사 58명이 참여한 가운데 ‘읽걷쓰기반 AI 기초 융합교육(STEAM) 프로그램 시범 적용 교사단 발대식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
AI융합교육원에 따르면, 이번 발대식은 9월 8일부터 11월 7일까지 약 두 달간 진행되는 프로그램의 시범 운영을 앞두고 교사단의 역할과 운영 방향을 공유하기 위해 마련됐다.
시범 운영에는 인천 관내 초등학교 3·4학년 학생 1,391명이 참여해 AI 융합교육의 실제 효과를 검증받게 된다.
3학년은 AI와 함께하는 물체·물질 대탐험, 밀물썰물 탐험대, 생활 속 소리 찾기, 우리는 감염병 수호대 등 4개 프로그램을 통해 동화책 재구성, 갯벌 생태 탐구, 생활 속 소리 시각화, 감염병 예방 자료 제작 등 다양한 활동에 참여한다.
4학년은 AI 천문 탐험대, AI 생태 지킴이, AI 기체 탐험대, 지구 온난화 X파일 등 달과 행성 탐구, 깃대종 연구, 로켓 설계·발사, 기후변화 데이터 분석 및 캠페인 제작 등 심화 융합 탐구를 진행한다.
