【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구광역시행복진흥사회서비스원(이사장 배기철, 이하 대구행복진흥원)이 임산부와 장애인의 이동권을 보장하기 위해 총 3,500만 원 상당의 교통비를 지원한다고 3일 밝혔다.
이번 교통비 지원은 2025년 교통복지사업 ‘다 함께 대구로’의 일환이다.장애인 지원 대상은 대구시에 거주하는 만 6세 이상 장애인 300명으로 대구장애인종합복지관, 상록뇌성마비복지관, 달성군장애인복지관 사례관리 및 이용 장애인을 포함한다.
1인당 10만 원 상당 교통카드가 제공되며, 나드리콜, 버스, 도시철도, 택시, 편의점 등 다양한 용도로 이용할 수 있다.
저소득층 임산부 교통비 지원은 올해 신규 발굴 대상자를 포함해 9월 1일부터 온라인 신청을 받고 있다.
대상은 대구시 거주 저소득층 임산부로, 기초수급자·차상위계층·한부모가족 중 임신 중이거나 출산 후 12개월 이내인 산모다.
선착순 50명을 모집하며, 1인당 10만 원 상당 교통카드가 등기우편으로 전달된다. 신청은 임신 확인서류와 저소득층 확인서류를 제출하면 된다.
배기철 대구행복진흥원 이사장은 “교통약자인 임산부와 장애인의 이동 편의를 높이는 데 공공기관으로서 책임을 다하겠다”며 “앞으로도 시민 모두가 체감할 수 있는 다양한 복지서비스를 확대할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
