신지식장학회 장학생 선발을 위한 프로그램이기도 한 ‘역사·문화 아카데미 1기’의 슬로건은 ‘왕의 길을 따라, 역사를 걷다’이고, 주제는 ‘王道(왕도):왕의 길을 걷다’. 조선의 정치 철학과 개국 정신이 깃든 공간과 시간을 따라가며 대한민국 청년들의 역사 인식과 시민정신을 고취 시키려 이 왕도 탐방 아카데미가 기획됐다.
참가 대상은 방배·풍납·김제·남원·고창장학숙 등 전북장학숙의 학생들, 전사들(전라북도를 사랑하는 사람들)과 출향 전북인의 자녀들, 전북권 각 대학과 고등학교의 재학생 중 역사·문화·인문 탐방에 관심이 있는 청년이다.
최소 1회 이상 현장 참여가 필수인 참가자는 탐방 기간 동안 본인이 제작한 유튜브 동영상을 공모전에 응모할 수 있다. 참가자가 자신만의 시각으로 제작한 5분 분량(회차별)의 역사·문화 동영상 콘텐츠를 제출하면 신지식장학회 장학위원회는 이를 평가·심사해서 우수콘텐츠 제작자 40명에겐 장학금을 지급한다.

장학금 규모는 ▲대상 300만 원 ▲금상 200만 원 ▲은상 100만 원 ▲동상 50만 원이다. 장학금 수상작은 ‘신지식TV 유튜브’, 출판 콘텐츠, 신지식장학회 공식 행사 등에서 공유된다.
탐방일 소요되는 입장료, 식대 등 공적 경비는 신지식장학회가 부담한다.
서울, 여주, 전주 등지에서 진행되는 역사와 함께 걷는 100일 대장정의 주요 탐방지는 종묘, 사직단, 경복궁을 포함한 서울의 궁궐 5대 권역, 여주 세종대왕릉, 전주 경기전 등이다.
이 탐방의 첫 번째 여정이 지난 2일 서울 종묘에서 시작됐다. 이날 탐방엔 신지식장학회 회원과 전주고, 우석대, 연세대, 을지대, 청주대, 고려대, 국민대, 상명대 등에 재학 중인 학생들이 참가했다. 참가자 총수는 약 20명.

신지식장학회는 8월 9일 2회째 왕도 탐방에 나섰다. 서울 사직단에서 출발해 환구단을 들렀다. 양성현 작가의 ‘정여립과 기축옥사’ 특강도 가졌다.

3회 탐방은 경복궁에서, 4회는 동구릉, 5회는 창덕궁과 후원에서 진행됐다.

The Shin Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (Chairman Cho Jeong-nam) will hold its first "History and Culture Academy" program, which will run for a total of 12 sessions from August to November. The first session began on August 2nd at Jongmyo Shrine in Seoul.

The slogan of the "History and Culture Academy," which also serves as a program for selecting scholarship recipients for the Shin Knowledge Scholarship Foundation, is "Follow the King's Road, Walk History," and the theme is "Wangdo: Walk the King's Road." This Royal Capital Exploration Academy was designed to foster historical awareness and civic spirit among young Koreans by tracing the space and time imbued with Joseon's political philosophy and founding spirit.
Participants include students from Jeonbuk Scholarship Dormitories (Bangbae, Pungnap, Gimje, Namwon, and Gochang Scholarship Dormitories); Jeonsa (those who love Jeollabuk-do); children of Jeonbuk residents; and young adults from universities and high schools in the Jeonbuk region who are interested in historical, cultural, and humanistic exploration.
Participants, who are required to participate in at least one field trip, can submit a YouTube video they created during the tour to the contest. Participants submit five-minute videos (per episode) of historical and cultural content, produced from their own perspectives. The Shinjisik Scholarship Committee will evaluate and review these videos, awarding scholarships to 40 outstanding content creators.

The scholarship amounts are: Grand Prize: 3 million won, Gold Prize: 2 million won, Silver Prize: 1 million won, and Bronze Prize: 500,000 won. The scholarship winners' works will be shared on the Shin Knowledge TV YouTube channel, published content, and official Shin Knowledge Scholarship Society events.
The Shin Knowledge Scholarship Society will cover all public expenses, including admission fees and meals, during the tour.
The 100-day journey through history, taking place in Seoul, Yeoju, and Jeonju, includes the five major palaces in Seoul, including Jongmyo Shrine, Sajikdan Altar, and Gyeongbokgung Palace; the Royal Tomb of King Sejong in Yeoju; and Gyeonggijeon Shrine in Jeonju.
The first leg of the tour began on the 2nd at Jongmyo Shrine in Seoul. The tour included members of the Shin Knowledge Scholarship Society and students from Jeonju High School, Woosuk University, Yonsei University, Eulji University, Cheongju University, Korea University, Kookmin University, and Sangmyung University. The total number of participants was approximately 20.

The New Knowledge Scholarship Society embarked on its second tour of the royal capital on August 9th. They began at Sajikdan Altar in Seoul and stopped at Hwanghudan Altar. They also attended a special lecture by author Yang Seong-hyeon on "Jeong Yeo-rip and the Gichuk Oksa."
