<Los Angeles, CA – September 2025> – YMK Films, in collaboration with the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory (LAPAC), proudly announces that Prayer Hollywood, part of the acclaimed Prayer International Series, has been honored with five awards at the Milestone International Film Festival 2025.
The awards include:

- Best Producer
- Best Director
- Best Writer
- Best Cinematography

Director Young Man Kang expressed his excitement over the achievement:
"This is a great accomplishment for everyone involved. Congratulations to the extraordinary cast, crew, and supporters, as well as Priscila Buiar’s devoted fans. We also celebrate LAPAC Artistic Director Natalia Lazarus and her students for their incredible contributions."
Prayer Hollywood tells the story of a Brazilian acting student in Los Angeles who risks her dreams and visa status to defend a friend assaulted by a powerful producer. As the acting school’s future hangs in the balance, faith, courage, and prayer guide the characters toward an unexpected moment of justice and redemption.

The film stars Priscila Buiar, Natalia Lazarus, and Ashleigh Jo in leading roles. Supporting background performances were contributed by Patrycja K. Stevenson, Katalina Mafla, and Deepak Joseph.
Young Man Kang served as both writer and director, while Young Man Kang and Natalia Lazarus produced the film. Executive production was overseen by @comolhosverdes, and Sean Nyambayo handled assistant directing and gaffer duties. Production design was a collaborative effort between Tom Waters and Sean Nyambayo, with casting managed by Natalia Lazarus. Young Man Kang also served as the cinematographer and editor, and the original score was composed by Won Cheol Jeong.
The project was produced in partnership between YMK Films and the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory (LAPAC). Special thanks are extended to LAPAC, Wilshire United Methodist Church, LAX, and the iconic Hollywood Sign with Palm Trees for their invaluable support.
The Prayer International Series has grown to 27 episodes to date, with the most recent release being Prayer Tijuana.
