대한민국 시온평화문화예술단(이하 ‘시평문단’신현옥 목사(이사장))은 2025년 한중민간예술대축제가 중국 장가계 황룡동굴 대극장에서 성대하게 열렸다. 이번 축제의 하이라이트 가운데 하나는 박명숙 대표가 선보인 ‘궁중한복컬렉션 쇼’가 지난 달 8월9일부터 8월13일이였다.

한국 전통의 미를 현대적으로 재해석한 무대는 현지 관객과 해외 관광객들의 시선을 사로잡으며 큰 호응을 얻었다.
신 이사장은 “한복은 단순한 의복이 아니라 한국인의 가치와 문화의 결정체”라며 “문화예술을 통한 한중 간 상호 이해와 우의 증진에 기여하길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

특히 박명숙 대표는 왕실의 기품과 서민적 아름다움을 함께 담아낸 다양한 작품을 무대에 올려, 한복의 우아함과 풍성한 색채미를 세계인 앞에 알렸다.
또 박 대표는 우리 궁중의상을 국내외에 알리는 데 일익을 담당해 왔으며, 지금도 K-패션을 누구보다도 앞장서서 한복은 물론, 드레스 작품을 연구하고 만든 의상으로 패션쇼 행사를 개최해 오고 있다.
이번 한중민간예술대축제는 문화·예술 교류를 통해 양국 국민 간의 이해와 우정을 다지는 의미 있는 자리가 되었으며, 궁중한복컬렉션쇼는 그 상징적 순간으로 기록될 전망이다.
한편 관객들은 화려한 궁중의상과 절제된 무대 연출 속에서 한국 전통문화의 깊이를 체감했다. leechangho21@hanmail.net

The Zion Peace Culture and Arts Troupe (hereinafter referred to as the "Sipyeongmundan" and Pastor Shin Hyun-ok (Chairman)) held its 2025 Korea-China Folk Arts Festival at the Huanglong Cave Grand Theater in Zhangjiajie, China. One of the festival's highlights was the "Royal Hanbok Collection Show," presented by Park Myung-sook, which ran from August 9th to 13th.

The show, which reinterpreted the beauty of traditional Korean culture in a modern way, captivated local audiences and international tourists, receiving a rave review.
Chairman Shin stated, "Hanbok is not simply clothing; it is the culmination of Korean values and culture. I hope this will contribute to fostering mutual understanding and friendship between Korea and China through culture and the arts."

In particular, CEO Park Myung-sook showcased a variety of works that captured both royal elegance and the beauty of the common people, introducing the elegance and rich colors of hanbok to the world.
CEO Park has also played a key role in promoting Korean court costumes both domestically and internationally. She continues to be a leading figure in K-fashion, researching and creating not only hanbok but also dresses, hosting fashion shows showcasing her creations.
This year's Korea-China Folk Arts Festival served as a meaningful opportunity to strengthen understanding and friendship between the peoples of both countries through cultural and artistic exchange, and the Royal Hanbok Collection Show is expected to be remembered as a symbolic moment in this regard.
