조례안의 주요 내용은 △불법 촬영 예방 및 근절을 위한 교육감의 책무 규정 △상시 점검 체계 구축과 실태조사 실시 △의심 시설 발견 시 신고 체계 마련 △지방자치단체·경찰 등 유관기관과 협력체계 구축 등이다.
이를 통해 교육청과 학교는 보다 체계적인 예방 활동을 추진하고, 학생과 교직원이 안심하고 시설을 이용할 수 있는 학습 환경을 조성할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
박 의원은 “경찰청 등 유관기관과 긴밀히 협력해 교육기관 내 불법 촬영을 근절하고, 범죄로부터 안전한 학교 환경 조성에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
