【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=(사)대경ICT산업협회가 ‘미래 대구 AX 정책포럼 2차 회의’를 성료했다고 8일 밝혔다.
지난 4일 오후 대구스포츠산업지원센터에서 열린 회의에는 더불어민주당 대구시당 허소 위원장을 비롯해 최종태 대경ICT산업협회 회장, 김민희 한국IT여성기업인협회 회장, 대구광역시 관계자, (재)대구디지털혁신진흥원(DIP), 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI), 대구경북과학기술원(DGIST), 경북대학교, 대구시의사회 등 산·학·연·정 관계자 30여 명이 참석했다.
회의에서는 △(재)대구디지털혁신진흥원 임정택 본부장이 대구 AX 예타면제사업의 진행 상황과 향후 일정을 공유했으며, △한국전자통신연구원 변우진 본부장이 지역 AX산업 발전을 위한 제언을 내놓았다. 기조 발제 후에는 참석자들이 대구 디지털산업 발전 방향을 놓고 열띤 토론을 이어갔다.
허소 위원장은 “지역거점 AX산업의 기초를 다질 5,510억 원 규모 예타면제사업이 확정됐다”며 “앞으로는 대구 지역과 기업들이 주도적으로 실행해 나가도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
최종태 협회장도 “수성알파시티 거점으로 추진되는 AX 예타면제사업은 지역 미래산업의 초석이라는 점에서 큰 의미가 있다”며 “정치적 이해관계를 넘어 지역산업 발전을 위한 일에 집중해야 한다”고 강조했다. 이어 “협회는 후속 추진 상황 점검과 ICT 발전 전략 구체화, 정책 제안 활동을 꾸준히 이어갈 것”이라고 덧붙였다.

At the meeting, Lim Jeong-taek, Director of the Daegu Digital Innovation Agency, shared the progress and future schedule of the Daegu AX preliminary feasibility study exemption project. Byun Woo-jin, Director of the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, offered suggestions for the development of the local AX industry. After the keynote speech, attendees engaged in a lively discussion about the future direction of Daegu's digital industry.
Chairman Heo So stated, "The 551 billion won preliminary feasibility study exemption project, which will lay the foundation for the regional AX industry, has been finalized. We will do our best to ensure that the Daegu region and its companies take the lead in implementing this project."
Association Chairman Choi Jong-tae also emphasized, "The AX preliminary feasibility study exemption project, being promoted as a hub for Suseong Alpha City, is highly significant as it serves as the cornerstone for future industries in the region. We must transcend political interests and focus on developing local industries." He added, "The association will continue to monitor the progress of follow-up projects, refine ICT development strategies, and propose policies."
