'2026학년도 대학수학능력시험' 응시원서 접수를 마감한 결과, 전북지역 응시자는 지난해보다 894명이 증가한 1만 7,935명으로 집계됐다.
8일 전북도교육청에 따르면 ▲ 재학생 응시자는 998명이 증가한 3,592명(77.8%) ▲ 검정고시 출신은 616명(3.4%) ▲ 졸업생은 3,727명(20.8%)이 수능 원서를 접수했다.
재학생(998명)과 검정고시(78명) 등 지원자는 소폭 증가했으나 가파르게 증가했던 졸업생 지원자 비율은 지난해에 비해 182명(2.1%) 감소했으나 여전히 20%대로 높은 비율을 유지했다.
성별로 살펴보면 남자 수험생은 지난해보다 381명 증가한 9,158명(51.1%)ㆍ여자 수험생은 8,777명(48.9%)으로 올해 재학생 성비 차이는 여자 졸업생 감소가 영향을 준 것으로 분석됐다.
전국 수능 지원자는 총 55만 4,174명으로 지난해보다 3만 1,504명 증가했다.

한편, 영역별 선택과목 원서 접수 현황은 ▲ 국어영역 = 화법과작문 1만 3,674명(76.2%)ㆍ▲ 언어와매체 4,117명(23.0%)으로 화법과작문 과목 선택자 비율이 3배 이상 높았다.
화법과작문 선택자 비율은 4.8%p 증가한 반면 언어와매체는 5%p 줄어 과목 간 격차가 커졌다.
