【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청이 9일부터 10일까지 이틀간 대구 엑스코 동관 5홀에서 2025년 직업교육박람회 '특마 페스티벌'을 개최한다.
올해 10주년을 맞은 이번 박람회는 특성화고와 마이스터고 교육 활동을 체험하며 미래 직업에 대한 흥미와 적성을 확인하고, 자기 주도적 진로를 설계하도록 돕기 위해 마련됐다.
박람회는 학교관, 체험관, 직업진로컨설팅관, 미래융합기술인재경진대회 우수작품 전시관, 직업교육정책관 등 5개 전시·체험관으로 구성됐다.
학교관에서는 특성화고와 마이스터고별 홍보물과 영상을 통해 학교를 소개하고, 1대1 상담으로 입학과 진로 정보를 제공한다. 교과 과정, 전공, 동아리 체험을 통해 학생들은 학교별 전공 분야를 직접 경험할 수 있다.
체험관에서는 AR용접 시뮬레이션, 선반기계 펜 제작 등 4차 산업 관련 기술 체험과 MBTI 기반 직업흥미적성검사가 진행된다. 직업진로컨설팅관에서는 특성화고·마이스터고 입학부터 취업까지 전반적인 성장 경로와 진로 상담을 제공한다.
미래융합기술인재경진대회 우수작품 전시관에서는 지난 6~7월 경진대회 수상작을 전시하며 직업계고 학생들의 역량을 확인할 수 있다. 직업교육정책관에서는 대구시교육청 취업지원센터와 유관 기관의 특성화고·마이스터고 지원 정책을 안내한다.
박람회 기간에는 특성화고·마이스터고 10개 학교 동아리 공연과 해병대 군악연주, 즉석퀴즈 이벤트 등 다양한 부대행사도 진행된다.
강은희 교육감은 “이번 박람회가 중학생들에게 특성화고와 마이스터고의 교육과정을 이해하고, 자신의 흥미와 적성을 확인하며 미래 진로를 설계하는 소중한 기회가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education will host the 2025 Vocational Education Fair, "Teukma Festival," for two days from the 9th to the 10th at Hall 5 of the Daegu EXCO East Building.

The Vocational Education Policy Center provides information on support policies for specialized and Meister high schools from the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education Career Support Center and related organizations.
The fair will also feature various side events, including performances by clubs from 10 specialized and Meister high schools, a Marine Corps band performance, and an impromptu quiz.
Superintendent Kang Eun-hee stated, "I hope this fair will serve as a valuable opportunity for middle school students to understand the curriculum of specialized and Meister high schools, identify their interests and aptitudes, and plan their future career paths."
