양국 의회 간 활발한 교류
이번 회의는 2006년 양국 의회 간 체결된 협력의정서에 따라 2008년부터 매년 이어져 온 정기적인 교류의 일환이다. 지난해 중국의 초청으로 한국 국회사무처 법제실이 중국을 방문했으며, 올해는 한국 국회가 중국 전인대 상무위 법제공작위원회를 초청했다. 이번 간담회에는 왕닝 전인대 상무위 법제공작위 형법실 2급순시원을 포함한 중국 측 관계자 5명이 참석했다.
형사소송제도 현황 및 개선 방안 논의
회의는 김정규 국회 법제실 정치행정법제심의관과 왕닝 순시원의 공동 주재로 진행되었다. 한국 측에서는 배승환 사법법제과장이 '신체에 대한 강제처분 및 범죄기록'을, 남소정 법무부 형사법제과 검사가 '한국 형사소송제도(압수·수색, 몰수·추징) 개관'을 주제로 발표했다. 양측 참석자들은 발표 후 질의·응답 시간을 통해 구체적인 사례와 경험을 공유하며 양국 제도의 현황과 개선 방안에 대해 폭넓게 논의했다.
