【브레이크뉴스 】박영재 기자=포항해양경찰서(서장 이근안)은 10일 제72주년 해양경찰의 날을 맞아 지역 출신 트로트 가수 류연주를 홍보대사로 위촉했다고 밝혔다.

류연주 양은앞으로 3년 동안 포항해경 홍보대사로서 해양경찰이 국민들에게 쉽게 다가갈 수 있도록 가교 역할을 할 예정이다.

류 양은 “제72주년 해양경찰의 날을 맞이하여 포항해양경찰서 홍보대사로 위촉되어 더 의미가 있다”며 “고향바다 포항에서 포항해양경찰서와 함께 해양안전 사고 예방을 위해 도움이 될 수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했다.

이근안 포항해양경찰서장은 “류연주양은 포항지역 출신 트로트 가수로 포항에 대한 애정이 깊고 해양안전에 관심이 많아 홍보대사로 위촉하였다”며“앞으로도 방송 및 행사에서 적극적인 홍보를 통해 해양경찰을 빛내주길 바란다”고 말했다.
